The usage of face masks have reduced 2 to 4 decibels at the speech range frequency of 2,000Hz to 7,000Hz. This results in unclear conversations, even with hearing aids on.
Existing customers of Amazing Hearing are encouraged to come in for a ‘Mask’ review. We will be adding an additional Mask Program that allows clear conversations even with mask on.
Mask Program is made by increasing gain by 3 decibels between 2,000 to 4,000Hz, and 5 decibels for 4,000 to 7,000Hz. Customers may switch on this setting via the program button on hearing aids, ReSound Smart 3D App, or SONIC SoundLink 2 App.
